You are this close... see more of Egypt than the desert...

While you may want to do some of your own internet searching and educational exploration, we found this YouTube: "Luxor everyday life and curiosities"

Since you are in Egypt and this close, please consider extending your pilgrimage to include Luxor.

Tentative Excursion Itinerary

Feb. 6th - Take night train from Cairo to Luxor.

Feb. 7th - visit Karnak Temple, Luxor Temple and Luxor museum.

Feb. 8th - visit the Valley of Kings and the Valley of Queens, and possible free time to walk by the River Nile and take felouka trip (like a ferry) on the Nile.

Feb. 9th - Fly back to Cairo. Departure for home.
